Fresh off momentarily killing Steve Jobs, Bloomberg news service claimed another victim yesterday: the already dazed and reeling United Airlines. A piece announcing United’s 2002 bankruptcy leaked back onto the wires yesterday, and the airline’s stock tumbled by more than $9 a share in just half an hour.
Guessing that Lehman’s wishing it had a rogue mayor’s news agency to pin its own terrifying death stumble on right now. That can be Bloomberg’s fault too, right? Or a drooling, crayon-munching TV anchor’s, maybe?
