New Beer Advocate magazine clip is now online. How fresh is this thing? I don’t even have a cover image for you, because it’s not yet on the bros’ website. That’s fresh.
This month features Al Marzi, brewmaster at Harpoon. This was a cool interview for a couple reasons. One, the brewery’s right down the street from my day job, so I got to walk around the brewery in a shirt and tie – the preferred brewery dress code, obvs.
And Harpoon’s more than one of my hometown breweries. It’s also the maker of one of first good beers I drank consistently, thanks to the endless supply of IPA on tap at the Dig during my early years. It’s no stretch to say that, back then, I was mostly getting paid in beer.
